This is a personal site. I take your privacy seriously and keep things simple.

What I Collect

If you sign up for the newsletter, your email is stored by Kit, my ESP. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email I send. I do not run ads, sell data, or collect anything else intentionally.

Site Analytics

I use WP Statistics to understand basic traffic patterns (like how many people visit and which posts are popular). This is processed locally on my server, does not specific identify you, and does not track you across other websites or apps.

Third Party Services

This site is built on WordPress and hosted on Hostinger, along with a handful of plugins for security, SEO, and site speed .

Hostinger’s infrastructure may log standard server data (like IP addresses) as part of normal operation. As far as I know, I do not have access to that.

AI Disclosure

None of the writing you’ll see on this site is created by AI – I started it so I had a place to write my own words, so using AI for this purpose would be (to use the scientific term) silly.

I use AI tools frequently, though, to help with editing, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance. I may eventually use these tools to manage the backend and even code a plugin or two that will help make this site what I want it to be.

If I use AI tools to generate an image – whether partly or totally, I will note that.
